The Job!
As a Project Manager, you lead delivery of a large-scale, cross-functional transformation initiative from initiation through closure. You will:
- Own and manage a project workstream, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to required quality standards
- Coordinate closely with Lead Project Managers, business partners, business analysts, and external vendors
- Gather and document business requirements; support solution definition and stakeholder sign-off
- Develop and maintain project charters, detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Manage project financials, forecasts, and budget changes
- Track milestones and dependencies; produce Gantt charts, status reports, and program updates
- Proactively manage risks, issues, scope changes, and mitigation plans
- Facilitate workshops covering requirements, risk, change management, and lessons learned
- Drive clear, effective communication across cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
What you bring to the job
You are someone with proven experience delivering projects across the full project lifecycle and experience managing complex, multi-year or large-scale projects with cross-functional teams. You also come with:
- Strong knowledge and practical application of project management methodologies
- Understanding of mutual fund products and middle/back-office operations a strong plus
- Experience working with and managing external vendors or partners
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including MS Project
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and documentation skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
- PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as required
