Job Summary
Our client is looking for a hands-on, self-starting manufacturing leader to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant production operations while guiding the team to meet current and future business needs. You will be engaged on the floor, understand operational challenges firsthand, and drive solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the manufacturing team to meet production goals and support the overall business schedule.
- Provide short- and mid-term strategic direction to keep the department running smoothly and positioned for future growth.
- Identify challenges that may impact production timelines and guide the team in resolving them quickly.
- Maintain a strong culture of safety, quality, and cGMP compliance across all operations.
- Ensure company policies are applied consistently and fairly within the department.
- Translate upcoming business needs into smart plans for staffing, equipment, and operational resources.
- Evaluate systems and procedures to ensure work is performed efficiently and effectively.
- Review performance metrics and implement improvements to meet business objectives.
- Represent the manufacturing function when the Director of Production is unavailable.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and develop team members—promoting accountability, continuous learning, and a strong team environment.
- Ensure all team members follow safety, employment, and workplace conduct policies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve shared goals and uphold corporate values of Pride, Accountability, Integrity, and Diligence.
- Ensure all work meets regulatory, compliance, and safety expectations.
- Perform other responsibilities as needed to support the success of the department.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- 8–10 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated leadership of capital, technical, or operational projects.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Solid understanding of project management principles.
