Hiring a Meat Packager
- Completion of secondary school is preferred but not required.
- On-the-job training in Korean-style meat cutting will be provided
- English proficiency is required for this position.
Main duties:
-Transport raw meats, finished products and packaging materials throughout plant manually or with powered equipment

Thoroughly inspect and clean all cuts of meat according to regulations and health department standards prior to packaging

Sort meat by type and size, preparing various cuts of meat in preparation for packaging and label each package

Remove filled containers from conveyors and manually pack meats into bags, boxes or other containers

Clean work areas and meat packaging equipments

Check products and packaging for basic quality defects

$19.50 per hour, 4% vacation fee of gross salary or 10 days paid vacation, extended
health benefit (after three months of employment), and meal provided at work

30-40 hours per week (permanent full-time position) including evening and weekend
shifts
