Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare and file all tax returns accurately and on schedule, including federal, state, and international submissions.
• Design and execute tax planning initiatives aimed at reducing the organization’s overall tax burden while maintaining full compliance with applicable laws.
• Compile and review financial statements, tax provisions, and disclosures for external reporting in line with accounting and taxation standards.
• Lead, train, and support a team of tax professionals, fostering their development and ensuring smooth departmental operations.
• Oversee tax audits and inquiries from authorities, coordinating with external auditors and legal advisors when required.
• Keep current with evolving tax legislation, research complex tax matters, and advise on their implications for the organization.
• Establish and manage transfer pricing policies and documentation to meet international regulatory requirements.
• Identify and maximize opportunities for tax credits, deductions, and incentives to optimize tax efficiency.
• Evaluate and mitigate tax-related risks, ensuring alignment with the organization’s risk management strategy.
• Work collaboratively with departments such as legal, finance, and operations to address tax considerations in business decisions and transactions.

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or accounting
• 9+ years of accounting experience with 5+ years in a leadership role
• Experience with CCH Axcess, IFIRM application suites preferred
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in order to research and escalate issues
• Strong organizational and time management skills in order to prioritize competing demands and meet deadlines
• Strong English communication skills, verbal and written
Experience:
Applicant must hold adequate knowledge in accounting procedures and at least 9 years of relevant accounting experience and direct work experience working as an accountant completing the following task:
• Preparing and reviewing audit plans.
• Conducting internal controls review.
• Preparing and overseeing company budget.
• Assessing business financial risk.
• Analyzing financial reports.

Wages and Work Schedule:
• Wages: $63.00 per hour
• Work Schedule: Monday Friday, 8-hour shift from 10 am to 6 pm. (Permanent/Full time)
• With 37.5 hours per week with 30 minutes lunch break
