We represent leading brands including Whelen Engineering, Havis, Panorama Antennas, Pi-Lit, and All Fleet Solutions across Canada. Our role is to promote, specify, and support our manufacturers products within defined territories. We work closely with distributors, OEM partners, and end users to ensure proper product application and long-term account support. As our organization continues to grow and modernize our internal systems, we are looking to add a detail-oriented Sales Support Specialist to strengthen our internal sales operations.
Position Overview
The Sales Support Specialist provides administrative and operational support to Territory Sales Representatives across Canada. This role focuses on pricing preparation, CRM updates, demo tracking, and maintaining organized sales documentation within Dynamics 365 and SharePoint. This is a support-focused role designed to improve efficiency, accuracy, and internal organization. The position does not involve direct selling or territory ownership.
Key Responsibilities:
Pricing Support
- Prepare pricing for distributors, OEMs, and end users using approved manufacturer programs and internal margin guidelines.
- Maintain internal pricing documentation and spreadsheets.
- Track and document special pricing approvals.
- Support quote revisions and documentation updates.
CRM & Opportunity Administration
- Enter and update opportunities in Dynamics 365 CRM.
- Ensure proper tagging by territory, distributor/OEM, end user, and product line.
- Maintain accurate pipeline data and projected close dates.
- Assist with reporting for management and manufacturer reviews.
SharePoint & Sales Documentation Management
- Maintain and update SharePoint libraries for:
- Manufacturer price lists
- Promotions
- Quote templates
- Sales documentation
- Archive outdated pricing and ensure proper version control.
- Support internal SharePoint Lists used for tracking projects and sales initiatives.
Demo & Sample Tracking
- Track demo products and samples within CRM.
- Record deployment location, dates, and outcomes.
- Assist with coordination of demo shipments and returns.
- Support documentation through the order process.
General Sales Administrative Support
- Assist Territory Sales Representatives with documentation and internal processes.
- Help maintain organized digital file structures.
- Coordinate internally with Solutions, Marketing, and Accounting as required.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 13 years of experience in inside sales support, sales administration, or a similar role.
- Experience using a CRM platform (Dynamics 365 preferred).
- Strong Microsoft 365 skills (Excel, SharePoint, Teams).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured environment.
Assets:
- Experience in a manufacturer rep or distribution environment.
- Familiarity with products from Whelen Engineering, Havis, or Panorama Antennas.
- Experience in public safety, fleet, or technical product markets.
- Previous inside sales support experience.
Compensation
- Base Salary: $52,000 $62,000 CAD (based on experience)
- Optional annual performance bonus (35%)
