Salary:
OakQuest Camp Counsellor
Seasonal Position - likely June to August
About InnovOak School
InnovOak School is a Ministry inspected private school serving students from Preschool through Grade 12. The school operates under its own proprietary Everstone+ curriculum framework that integrates Ontario curriculum expectations with Cambridge content, Singapore Math, and InnovOaks LifeREADY competencies. This framework emphasizes dynamic and positive learning environments, clear expectations, and the development of independent, capable students prepared for academic and life success by becoming a well-rounded person.
About OakQuest
OakQuest is InnovOak Schools summer extension of its co curricular and club based programming. The program is designed first and foremost to be fun, engaging, and memorable for students, while being delivered through intentional planning, clear structure, and strong supervision. We want to reimagine the idea of a camp experience similarly to how we have reinvented private school!
Programming is summer focused and similar to our clubs rather than what some would call traditionally academically rigorous. This does not mean there is no learning, but activities emphasize exploration, creativity, teamwork, movement, and skill building in ways that feel enjoyable and accessible to students. Programming may include academic readiness elements designed to keep core skills sharp, delivered through games, projects, and experiential activities rather than formal lessons, worksheets, or assessment.
OakQuest is a camp experience not summer school
OakQuest reflects InnovOak Schools commitment to well-rounded development by providing students with new opportunities to try unfamiliar activities, build confidence, and develop social and leadership skills in a supportive environment.
