We are currently hiring a high profile security professional for a office tower in Edmonton.
Location: St. Albert, AB
Schedule:
Position would work 4 rotations of 4 day shifts / 4 off then work 4 rotations of 4 night shifts / 4 off. Rotation would then repeat.
Timings: 7:00am to 7:00pm
Biweekly Pay period.
Job duties may include, but are not restricted to:
Providing excellent customer service to both the client and its guests
Security desk duties including CCTV monitoring
Advanced computer skills.
Responding to client requests
Responding to emergency service requests
Patrolling duties including regular building patrols, inspections of data server rooms and temperature gauge monitoring
Report writing and two-way radio communication
Reporting site incidents to Operations Managers
Candidate Requirements:
Valid Alberta security license
Excellent Customer Service Skills
First Aid (Intermediate) certificate is an asset
Comfortable in patrolling, ability to sit, stand and walk for an extended period of time
Requires good computer skills and an ability to use systems such as Microsoft Office Suite
Minimum 1 year experience in Commercial/SOC security
Minimum 1 year experience in a high-touch customer service environment
Excellent report writing and communication skills
Must be willing to undergo a criminal background check
