Junior Estimator – Amico Corporation
Richmond Hill, ON

Responsibilities:
As a Junior Estimator, the person will be responsible for the following duties:

Prepare and update preliminary drawings and quotations in accordance with site codes and regulations.
Estimate overall project costs based on architectural plans and specifications.
Coordinate with the sales team to discuss technical aspects of projects.
Request of quotation to purchasing team to get required pricing.
Identify potential issues early and propose value engineered solutions to sales

Qualifications:

Background in Architecture or Engineering preferred.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Blue-Beam and Onshape is an asset.
Experience reading architectural plans and specification documents is a must.
Minimum 1 year of experience in quantity take-offs and estimation.
Strong knowledge of MS Excel required.

Salary Range: $40,000 - $45,000
