Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pizza Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious pizzas and other menu items, ensuring high-quality food service, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
Handle food preparation tasks including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
Ensure all food is cooked to the proper temperature and presented attractively
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies
Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times
Assist in meal preparation for other menu items as needed
Serve customers efficiently when required, providing friendly and professional service
Adhere to restaurant policies regarding hygiene, safety, and quality standards
Skills
Experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service preferred
Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations within the food industry
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques specific to pizza making and general kitchen operations
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistent quality in food presentation
