Now, you can too as our new Product Developer/Designer Product Developer / Designer Location: Mount Brydges, ON You will be our primary design specialist, leading the design and development of new products while fine-tuning and making improvements to the current product line. You will have freedom and flexibility to shape your role, and to approach your task in a way that works for you. Your ability to understand engineering programs while ensuring deadlines are met will be essential to your success in this role. You will be working closely with our sales team and product managers to ensure that our product and service offering is 2nd to none. Practically speaking, you will: Design and develop new products using engineering software, primarily SolidWorks and Revit Create and refine custom components based on product manager guidance and client requirements Work extensively on custom projects, translating concepts into functional designs Update and maintain existing product designs and engineering files Collaborate with product and sales teams to develop innovative and customized solutions Fine-tune product designs to improve performance, quality, and manufacturability Spend time on hands-on work, including building and testing prototypes Evaluate product performance and make necessary design adjustments Manage and organize design files, ensuring accuracy and version control Support ongoing improvements to current inventory and product offerings Occasionally travel to trade conferences and clients' sites Working at RedRick Technologies Inc This is a full-time, permanent position, working mainly in our Mount Brydges location (about 20 km west of London, Ontario). You'll typically work from 8:30 am to 5 pm, but on-site installation hours may vary. You'll travel occasionally for installations, in Canada and the US. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in a Product Developer / Designer role Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) 5+ years of hands-on experience with SolidWorks; working knowledge of Revit is highly preferred Valid passport with the ability to travel freely to the United States, as required Valid driver's license with the ability to rent and operate a vehicle Physically capable of lifting up to 100 lbs as part of hands-on responsibilities How to Apply: Our online application will give you the option to apply to this role as a complete person - not just a resume.
