Landscape Junior Technician (Maintenance)

About the role
Do you love working outdoors, staying active, and seeing the results of your work every day? Whether you have landscaping experience or just hands-on labor experience, we want you on our maintenance team.
As a Landscape Junior Technician, you will work alongside skilled landscapers to maintain beautiful properties across Victoria. From mowing and pruning to keeping gardens healthy and tidy, your work will make a real difference in the community.
Responsibilities:
- Keep lawns, gardens, and green spaces looking their best through mowing, weeding, pruning, and cleanups
- Learn landscaping skills including plant care, identification, and seasonal maintenance
- Assist across different landscaping projects and divisions
- Safely operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools
- Follow safety guidelines and keep your work environment clean and organized
- Help with seasonal tasks such as snow and ice management in the winter
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in landscaping is a plus but not required.
- Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform outdoor labor. (Ability to stand, walk, bend and stoop for extended period in a fast paced environment with repetitive tasks)
- Enthusiasm for working in an outdoor environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Drivers License Class 5 is an asset

Compensation
$20-$25 per hour depending on skills and experience.
Schedule:
- Regular: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Seasonal Hours (April 13 to September 27, 2026):
Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (4 day a week 10 hour a day schedule)
Work Location:Different Greater Victoria work sites.
