Tasks

Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring toolsMeasure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materialsFit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardwareMaintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments

Support for persons with disabilities

Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities

Support for newcomers and refugees

Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees

Support for youths

Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth

Support for Indigenous people

Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers Work Term: Temporary Work Language: English Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
