Job Title: Sales Representative – Beef Export
Location: Greater Toronto Area or Alberta (Hybrid)
Salary: $60,000–$80,000 per year
Our client is a mission-driven food company focused on delivering high-quality, ethically sourced beef products to international markets. They are seeking a driven and commercially minded Sales Representative to support and grow their beef export business, with a primary focus on European customers.
The Sales Representative will play a key role in managing customer relationships, supporting new business development, and contributing to the company’s continued growth in international markets.
This role is ideal for a sales professional with hands-on experience selling beef who understands product specifications, cuts, pricing dynamics, and customer expectations. The ability to speak the language of beef and immediately relate to knowledgeable buyers is critical.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow relationships with existing international customers, primarily across European markets.
- Sell beef products directly to knowledgeable buyers, demonstrating strong product knowledge and industry credibility.
- Support new business development efforts by identifying opportunities and nurturing prospective export customers.
- Work closely with internal teams to align customer demand with supply, pricing, and delivery expectations.
- Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline tracking, and customer records within CRM systems.
- Assist with pricing discussions, contract support, and deal execution in collaboration with senior leadership.
- Stay informed on global beef market trends, customer preferences, and competitive activity.
- Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions, building long-term trust and partnerships.
Qualifications:
- 3–7 years of sales experience, with direct experience selling beef strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of beef products, cuts, grading, pricing, and customer requirements.
- Experience selling into export or international markets is an asset, but not required.
- Proven ability to build relationships with sophisticated buyers who know the beef industry well.
- Comfortable managing multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
