Job Description:
Spinrite is the largest craft yarn and sewing thread company in North America. As an industry leader focused on
driving growth and execution excellence, we are looking for an Accounts Receivable Representative to join our
growing Finance team.
Reporting into our Accounts Receivable Supervisor, the Accounts Receivable Representative will primarily be
responsible for a variety of accounting and bookkeeping duties such as ongoing customer maintenance, invoicing,
payment application, claim management, account collection.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain incoming payments from customers
- Monitor customer account details for non-payment, delayed payment or other irregularities and perform collection activities as required
- Perform credit reviews for the purpose of determining customer credit worthiness
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies/claims/rebates in a timely manner and ensure they are tracked accurately
- Processing debits and credits on customers' accounts while also ensuring compliance with customer agreements
- Generate and distribute customer invoices, statements or other documentation as required
- Create and maintain customer master records and account information
- Perform other duties as required
Qualifications:
- Strong computer skills in applications including Microsoft office: Specifically, Excel, Word and Microsoft Teams
- Accounting software: Experience in an ERP environment (Visual Manufacturing, Global Financials, PRMS, preferred)
- Knowledge of accounts receivable process, general accounting principles, budgets, and internal controls
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Work independently as well as with a team
This position is based out of Listowel, ON.
Salary range: 47,000 - 55,000 CAD
