SCOPE
Join our Parks, Recreation & Culture team as a Head Concession Worker, where you will take the lead in organizing and overseeing all concession and catering operations to deliver exceptional service and memorable experiences for our community. This role provides day-to-day oversight of concession staff and services in a fast-paced, public-facing environment.
EMPLOYMENT STATUS

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversees day-to-day concession and catering operations at assigned facilities.
- Assigns, trains, and supervises concession staff.
- Operates cash registers, handles transactions, balances cash floats, and monitors inventory.
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of concession areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Prepares, serves, and coordinates food and beverage services in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Supports catering and special events, including transporting supplies and performing related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONSThe successful candidate will have:
- Completion of grade 10 or equivalent.
- Minimum of 6 months’ experience as a Concession worker or equivalent.
- Acceptable equivalent of training and experience may be considered.
- Food Safe certificate.
- Basic First Aid certificate.
- Valid BC driver’s license to transport food and beverage items to facilities.
OTHER INFORMATION- Pay Grade: Schedule D
- Hourly Rate: $34.32
This position requires completion of a Police Information Check with a Vulnerable Sector Check.
