Compensation:$85,000 - $125,000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Provide professional oral advocacy and troubleshooting support to clients in the field of Canadian immigration law in Calgary, Alberta.
- Stay updated on the latest changes in Canadian immigration laws and regulations to ensure accurate and current legal advice.
- Develop and deliver presentations tailored for corporate clients, ensuring alignment with legal precedents and regulations.
- Engage proactively with clients through various communication channels, proposing effective strategies and action plans for their immigration cases.
- Actively contribute to billing processes while upholding a high standard of professionalism and ethics in all interactions.
Qualifications:- To qualify for the position of Senior Associate Lawyer specializing in Canadian immigration law in Calgary, Alberta, CA, you should have a Law degree and be called to the Canadian Bar with a minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in immigration law.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential for this role, with a strong emphasis on problem-solving abilities.
- The ideal candidate must possess superior skills in legal research and writing to effectively handle immigration cases.
- Any prior experience in NAFTA US immigration would be considered advantageous for this position.
