JOB OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Director Corporate Services, the Corporate Services Administrative Assistant provides administrative and confidential support to Corporate Services Department, Mayor and Council. This role is responsible for coordinating meetings, tracking correspondence, preparing official correspondence and reports, managing records, and supporting legislative and public engagement processes. The position requires discretion, strong organizational skills, and the ability to oversee multiple priorities in a busy municipal environment. Additionally, this position provides backup for the Deputy Corporate Officer function.
The ideal candidate will possess a certificate in local government, public Certificate in Local Government, public administration or a related subject and three (3) years of related local government administrative experience with sound knowledge of the Local Government Act, Community Charter and other related acts. An equivalent combination of education and
experience may be considered.

The hourly pay rate for this part time (.60 FTE), Monday to Friday position is $37.55-40.61 (2026 rates).
