Job Title: General Production WorkerJob DescriptionJoin a large, stable manufacturing operation as a General Production Worker supporting a major project in Reno. In this role, you operate production equipment, assist with material handling, and help keep automated manufacturing lines running safely and efficiently in a modern, temperature-controlled facility.
Responsibilities
- Operate production and manufacturing equipment in a safe, efficient, and consistent manner according to established procedures.
- Support day-to-day production activities for the Reno project, including monitoring equipment, feeding materials, and assisting with line changeovers as needed.
- Use a forklift and other material-handling equipment, when required, to move raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods within the facility.
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support a safe, efficient, and compliant production environment.
- Monitor automated equipment for issues, report problems promptly, and work with team members to minimize downtime.
- Work effectively as part of a large production crew, communicating clearly with colleagues and supervisors to meet production goals.
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and training, including proper use of safety shoes and other required protective gear.
- Adapt to a rotating continental schedule, reliably working both day and night shifts as assigned for a 24/7 production operation.
Essential Skills- Experience working in a production, manufacturing, or similar industrial environment.
- Ability to operate basic production equipment and follow standard operating procedures.
- Capability and willingness to operate a forklift or learn forklift operation, following all safety guidelines.
- Comfort working in a large, automated, GMP-regulated facility with strict cleanliness and PPE requirements.
- Ability to work a rotating continental schedule that includes both 12-hour day and night shifts in a 24/7 operation.
- Strong attention to safety, cleanliness, and compliance with established rules and regulations.
- Reliability and punctuality to support continuous production schedules.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a large team and communicate clearly with coworkers and supervisors.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Previous experience in a GMP or highly regulated manufacturing environment.
- Prior forklift certification or formal forklift training.
- Experience working 12-hour shifts or rotating continental schedules.
- Comfort working with automated and state-of-the-art production equipment.
- Flexibility to work primarily days or nights for contract opportunities, where applicable.

Work Environment
You work in a large, modern manufacturing facility that follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The environment is highly automated, state-of-the-art, temperature-controlled, and very clean. All team members must comply with GMP requirements, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment such as hairnets, beard nets, and coats. Safety shoes are required on the production floor, and adherence to all safety and hygiene standards is mandatory. The facility employs approximately 400–500 people overall, with about 100 people on each of four production crews. Operations run 24/7 on a rotating continental schedule with 12-hour shifts (7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.). A typical rotation includes working Monday–Tuesday days, Wednesday–Thursday off, then Friday–Sunday nights in the first week, followed by Monday–Tuesday off, Wednesday–Thursday days, and Friday–Sunday off in the second week, continuing in this pattern. Overtime is available after 40 hours, and the structured schedule supports consistent planning around work and personal time.
