Tasks

Load, unload and transport construction materialsRead blueprints to determine work requirements Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricadesAssist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofsLevel earth to fine grade specificationsPerform routine maintenance workRemove rubble and other debris at construction sitesTend or feed machines or equipment used in constructionFit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardwareMeasure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materialsBuild foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
