We are seeking an experienced and motivated Office Manager to oversee daily administrative operations and support healthcare professionals in delivering excellent patient care.
Position Summary
The Office Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the administrative and operational functions of the practice. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and experience in medical office administration and billing.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration and management
Experience:
- 3-5 years management experience
Key Responsibilities / Tasks:
- Implement and improve administrative procedures
- Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
- Oversee and carry out administrative activities of the practice
- Review and evaluate new administrative procedures
- Coordinate and plan office services, including equipment, supplies, forms, asset disposal, maintenance, security services, account reconciliations, billing MSP, private, and third party
- Assist in the preparation of operating budgets and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
- Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence
- Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures
- Complete insurance and other medical claim forms
- Resolve workplace and operational conflict situations professionally and effectively
- Maintain accuracy in full EMR operations; as manager will be responsible for accuracy of EMR charts and billing daily
- Prepare spreadsheets, documents, and reports for review
- Manage routine office functions including reception, telephone and booking appointments
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconcile accounts
- Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment
- Assist healthcare professionals with administrative and operational support as required
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast?paced clinical environment
- Ability to work independently
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent time management skills
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems (Accuro preferred), point of sale systems (POS) and standard office software (electronic mail, electronic scheduler, spreadsheets, etc.)
- Medical billing experience in a healthcare or medical office setting
