We are seeking a General Maintenance Technicianto join ourmorning shift team. This role involves assisting with preventive maintenance, basic repairs, and general upkeep of the plant.
Responsibilities:
- Assist maintenance technicians with installation, repair, and servicing of industrial equipment and HVAC manufacturing machinery
- Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting equipment
- Help troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues under supervision
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition
- Assist in facility maintenance tasks including minor plumbing, electrical, and structural repairs
- Follow all safety procedures, policies, and regulations (including PPE usage and lockout/tagout procedures)
- Transport tools, parts, and materials as required
- Document completed work and report issues to supervisors
- Support inventory management by tracking parts and supplies
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or maintenance environment is an asset
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and hand/power tools
- Willingness to learn industrial HVAC systems and maintenance practices
- CSA Approved steel toe safety footwear
Afternoon Shift:
- Morning Shift; Monday Thursday, 6am 3:30pm & Friday, 6am 2:30pm
