About the Role
We are currentlyseeking an individual for the role of LaboratoryTechnician at our production laboratorylocated in Kemptville. The successful candidate willpossess excellent communication, time management and analyticalskills.
What You Will Do:
- Use of accepted protocols to ensure that all processes required for routine semen production meet established quality and quantity guidelines
- Labeling, dilution, fill-sealing, racking, freezing, extender-supplies, maintenance, lab collection, equipment hygiene, lab cleanliness, and liquid nitrogen dispensing
- Lab data base management and maintenance of records and lab material inventories
- Participating inoccasional staff meetings
What You Need to Succeed:
- College Diploma or equivalent education and experience
- Experience in a lab production facility preferred
- Understanding of lab production,quality control, production database maintenance and recording
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Physically fit with acute manual dexterity, and able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to tolerate work in the cold room environment with temperatures ranging from 3°- 25° C
- Knowledge of the agriculture industry is an asset

Work Location & Minimum Pay Rate
This is an in-person rolerequiring 5 days per week in our Kemptville location. This position offers a minimum startingsalary of $23.00/hour, withpotential compensation enhancementsbased on applicable experience and qualifications.
