General Description of the Position
Nestled on the shores of beautiful Georgian Bay, Baytech Plastics, a leading injection molding company and contract manufacturer in Midland, Ontario, is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to develop and execute modern, data-driven marketing strategies. This role will leverage artificial intelligence tools to optimize our digital presence, scale pipeline, and integrate technology and AI workflows across industrial and B2B markets. We are seeking a technically skilled digital marketing professional to bridge the gap between creative marketing and technical execution. In this role, you will develop and own our digital channels, accelerate content marketing efforts, enhance lead generation, improve campaign analytics and lead integration of AI tools. The ideal applicant will have 3-5 years of proven, hands-on experience with B2B digital marketing.
This is a hands-on, cross-functional role working closely with sales, engineering, and leadership teams to translate Baytech’s manufacturing capabilities into compelling digital content and measurable growth opportunities. We are looking for an innovative AI user who knows how to develop meaningful marketing programs to drive measurable business impact through lead generation.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Presence and Content Marketing
- Create strategy for technical and commercial content including:
- Case studies (e.g., engineered products, tooling capabilities).
- Blog posts, website copy, and product descriptions.
- Social media and LinkedIn campaigns targeting B2B audiences.
- Develop a resource hub and knowledge center to position Baytech as the leader in injection molding for specific target industries and customers.
- Use AI tools to accelerate content creation, while ensuring accuracy and technical credibility.
- Develop and build strong content strategy with focus on SEO, GEO, LinkedIn, and other key channels as needed.
AI-Driven Marketing Strategy
- Develop and implement AI-powered marketing strategies tailored to industrial manufacturing and injection molding markets.
- Identify opportunities to automate and accelerate marketing workflows using AI tools (content generation, targeting, analytics).
- Review, vet, prioritize technologies based on proved system and structured process.
Data Analytics & Performance Tracking
- Monitor and report on marketing performance metrics:
- Website traffic
- Lead generation
- Conversion rates
- Use data analytics and AI insights to continuously improve campaign performance.
- Implement testing and experimentation strategies and tactics based on metrics and monitoring
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with Engineering and Production to translate technical capabilities into marketable messages.
- Partner with Customer Service, Sales and Finance teams to align messaging with customer insights.
- Support management initiatives and strategic projects.
- Develop reporting to keep cross-functional teams aligned.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in marketing (B2B or industrial/manufacturing preferred).
- Experience with AI tools (e.g., generative AI platforms, marketing automation, analytics tools).
- Advanced certifications encouraged but not required.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of:
- Digital marketing (SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, web analytics).
- CRM systems and lead tracking.
- Specific proficiencies are encouraged, such as Google Analytics, Goole Ads, HubSpot, Pardot, MailChimp.
- Experience developing automated workflows and digital marketing campaigns.
- Specific experience using AI tools for:
- Content generation
- Campaign optimization
- Data analysis
Soft Skills
- Ability to translate complex technical processes into clear, compelling messaging
- Strong communicator with cross-function collaboration skills
- Self-starter with the ability to build and oversee a digital marketing function from the ground up
