Job Description: Reporting to the Manager, the Clinical Resource Nurse (CRN) is responsible for promoting the Mission, Vision and Values of the Health Authority through the provision of safe quality nursing care to clients. The Clinical Resource Nurse educates, mentors and supports unit staff, promotes patient safety, occupational health and safety and quality improvement on the unit.

Experience
- Requires a minimum of five (5) years recent nursing experience related to the clinical program area
- Previous leadership experience is required.
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
- Other specialty certifications related to the clinical program area as required
Licenses
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
- Basic Life Support Instructor Certificate (BLS)
Knowledge and Abilities
- Understands principles of adult education
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrates initiative, self-direction, and the ability to work effectively and collaboratively in an integrated multidisciplinary team
- The ability to facilitate teamwork is essential
- Strong leadership skills are essential
