Position Summary:
The Production Operations Administrator supports daily production activities by ensuring accurate tracking, reconciliation, and reporting of production data. This role plays a key part in maintaining operational efficiency by analyzing production yields, identifying discrepancies, and supporting continuous improvement efforts. The position also provides administrative support to the Operations team.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Production Manager or designate, the duties and responsibilities of the Production Administrator will include but will not be limited to:
- Reconcile and verify production room inputs and outputs.
- Monitor, understand, and validate production yields.
- Analyze and identify discrepancies between target yields and actual production outputs.
- Maintain accurate records using the SAGE ERP system.
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, for data tracking and reporting.
- Provide administrative support to the Operations team.
- Support production floor activities as required.
- Analyze expected yields and investigate variances.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience with SAGE or similar ERP systems is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good computer literacy, including data entry and system navigation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Willingness to support production operations when needed.
- Training will be provided.
