Job Description: As a member of the interdisciplinary team and under the general direction of the Manager or Addiction Counsellor Degree Senior, is responsible for the day-to-day client services delivery (development, implementation, deliver and assists with evaluation) of Addiction Services. Performs clinical management, community education, and community development.

- Knowledge in addictions specific twelve core functions
- Knowledge of Sask Model of Recovery Services and motivational assessment process
- Strong knowledge of policies and procedures established by Addiction Services
- Knowledge in Developmental Model of Recovery
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate knowledge in addiction(s) and their effects on the individual.
- Ability to provide individual, group and crisis management counselling skills
- Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize urgent client needs
- Promote healthy lifestyles in urban & rural settings with diverse populations
- Ability to accurately assess addictions and/or addiction related issues.
- Ability to accurately assess addictions and make appropriate referrals
- Ability to accurately assess addictions and make appropriate recovery plans
- Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
