Job Description
We are a family in NW Calgary seeking a reliable, caring, and energetic nanny to provide childcare in our home. We welcome applications from students, recent graduates, and individuals with experience working with children who are looking for meaningful, hands-on childcare experience.
Hours: 32.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, approximately 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
Position Type: Full-time, Term/Contract
Start Date: As soon as possible
Responsibilities
- Supervise and care for children in a safe and nurturing home environment
- Organize age-appropriate activities, games, and outings
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
- Assist with personal hygiene routines and daily care needs
- Support children's emotional well-being and social development
- Prepare children for rest periods
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties related to childcare
- Laundry and household linen care
- General household tidying, including sweeping and mopping floors
- Care for family pets as required
Education Required
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 3 years of childcare-related experience
- Emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR certification
- Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle
- Ability to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check
- Strong references

- Non-smoking home
- Physically active role involving lifting, carrying, and caring for children
