Our client, a well-established and highly respected leader in the HVAC and mechanical systems industry, is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Sales Representative to join their growing team.
This customer-facing role is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with consulting engineers, contractors, developers, architects, and owners while driving sales growth across a diverse portfolio of commercial HVAC equipment and mechanical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and maintain strong relationships within the engineering and construction community.
- Support product selection, equipment design, quotations, tenders, and project execution.
- Manage projects throughout the entire sales cycle, from initial specification through warranty completion.
- Conduct presentations, technical training sessions, and customer visits to promote products and solutions.
- Stay current on industry trends, technologies, codes, and regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities and deliver comprehensive project solutions.
Qualifications:- 3+ years of HVAC or mechanical equipment sales experience (5+ years preferred).
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Engineering Technology.
- Strong understanding of commercial mechanical systems and HVAC equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and project management skills.
