Co-op and Career Path Student – Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
8-Month Term

We’re looking for passionate, energetic, and versatile Engineering student to join our Facilities team for an 8-month Co-op and Career Path term. You will work with our facilities team on the following:
- Attending site visits to document the existing condition of facility assets
- Assist with updating and maintaining project record drawings across facilities
- Support engineers with project delivery, including design coordination and documentation
- Collaborate with the Mechanical, Electrical, and Energy teams on ongoing initiatives
Co-op position runs from September through April. Eligible candidates must be enrolled in and returning to school in the subsequent academic semester from an accredited post-secondary institution. Preference given to candidates in third year or higher, and those with relevant work experience.
Enrolment in a formal co-op program is not required.
Position qualifications include:
- Demonstrates a sound understanding of engineering fundamentals and basic design principles
- Experience with AutoCAD is considered an asset
- Valid BC Driver’s License Class 5.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Must be physically able to perform all the duties required.
This assignment is for an eight-month term between September to April 2027. This is a CUPE bargaining unit position with an hourly rate of $27.64 to $29.94 per hour (depending on education) plus 14% in lieu of benefits, vacation and statutory holidays.
