As a Cook, you'll play an essential role in delivering the exceptional culinary experience that has made Le Hatley a destination restaurant.
Working alongside the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs, you will:
- Prepare and organize mise en place before service;
- Execute, finish, and plate dishes with precision and consistency;
- Maintain the highest standards of presentation and quality;
- Ensure your station remains stocked, organized, and service-ready;
- Monitor inventory and communicate product needs to kitchen leadership;
- Uphold food safety and sanitation standards (HACCP);
- Help minimize waste and maximize the use of premium ingredients;
- Contribute ideas, creativity, and teamwork to an environment focused on continuous improvement;
- Support Le Manoir Hovey's commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
- Diploma of Professional Studies in Cooking
- Very good knowledge of products, recipes, various culinary techniques
- Very good knowledge of conservation, processing, cooking and presentation techniques.
- Experience in a gastronomic restaurant an asset
