Tasks
Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costsPrepare pre-qualification submissions to present clients Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements Prepare estimates for general expenses and overheadsProvide economic feasibility studies and preliminary estimates for proposed projectsCreate and submit estimate reports, quote sheets and bids formsSet up cost monitoring and reporting systemsMonitor and adjust contract expendituresPrepare and maintain directory of supplies and trade contractorsLiaise, consult and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates
Support for newcomers and refugees
Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognitionProvides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees
