Set up and operate extruding machines to extrude plastic compound through a nozzle or dieSet up and operate one or more moulding machines to mould plastic productsTrain or arrange for training of crewStart up or shut down process equipmentPrepare raw materials for mixing processPlan sequence of operationMonitor quality and production levelsInterpret and enforce rules of procedureFeed and unload production machinery and equipmentEnsure smooth operation of equipmentEnsure that the quality of products meets established standardsEnsure health and safety regulations are followedClean and lubricate machinery and equipmentAssist in locating and isolating system problemsAssist in the collection and documentation of user's requirementsWork with minimal supervisionCo-ordinate and supervise production crew such as machine and process operators, tenders, assistants and helpersIdentifying and investigating compliance issues
