We are seeking a Construction Site Superintendent to join our team. The successful candidate will be able to oversee and coordinate the hands-on activities on construction job sites and shall be organized, attentive to details, solutions-oriented, and driven to satisfy client and project needs. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a proactive attitude. TTC experience is an asset.

Responsibilities:
- Accomplish project goals by defining a scope and purpose of the project, determine required resources, allocate resources and schedule staff
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with subcontractors, supervisors and clients
- Prepare schedules, work progress reports and client forms
- Supervise and evaluate staff; keep accurate records of employee attendance and timesheets; provide positive direction to motivate quality performance
- Supervise and evaluate subcontractors
- Manage project change orders; suggest solutions to clients, plan the workflow, and assess cost and schedule impact
- Perform quality assurance and control activities, such as site reviews and ensure adherence to contract requirements
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of systems and equipment
- Administer project closeout; from document archiving to maintenance/warranty manuals, etc
- Follow Duron’ Health and Safety Policy and Procedure
- Handle emergencies appropriately according to established procedures, prepare and file accident reports
- Follow COR Guidelines and industry best practices for a safe workplace
- Other duties as required
Requirements:
- A University Degree/Technology Diploma in Civil Engineering, or Construction
- An ability to supervise, coordinate and collaborate with a team
- Excellent Microsoft Outlook and MS Word skills
- Sense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving goals and objectives
- Attention to detail and exceptional organization skills
- Ability to work well with shifting priorities and change in a fast-paced environment
- Valid Class G driver's license and clean driving record
- Must provide a copy of Driver's Abstract
- Ability to work both as part of a team and independently
Additional:
- Experience: minimum 2 years construction experience
- Compensation is commensurate with qualifications and work experience
- TTC experience is a strong asset
