This role is for a Social Media Specialist II, based in Toronto, ON, with a contract length of 1 year and requires working onsite two days a week (hybrid). The candidate will be responsible for owning and overseeing media channels, driving specific content initiatives, and managing end-to-end content creation and execution. The primary social channels involved are Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Expert in social media usage, platforms, content, measurement, and best practices for both paid and organic.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing social media for a brand.
- Experience publishing across all major social media platforms for a brand.
- Ability to self-start, manage projects, and make an impact in a global, highly matrixed organization.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make decisions based on data and human empathy.
- Collaborative self-starter with a passion for social media.
- Ability to write copy for social media.
- Understanding of analytics and insights.
- Ability to manage projects end-to-end and work cross-functionally.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience with employer branding.
- Background in agency or corporate environments.
