Who you are
You are a media professional either at the Media Director, Media Manager or Media Planner level looking to grow your career.
You are well-versed with media strategy and possess skills in 360 degree media planning with skills in driving media innovation and constantly raising the bar. You are experienced in digital planning including programmatic, direct digital buys and social media. You have an excellent track record of helping grow client accounts based on exceeding goals, proactive opportunity identification, and excellent service and have exciting case studies to prove the same. At the Director or Manager level, you will be provide strategic support and meaningful coaching to Clients.
What you’ll do
You will be responsible for strategizing, implementing, managing and improving the paid media strategy and campaigns for key blue-chip clients. You will be planning and executing a full-funnel approach with skills in negotiation with media vendors. You will play a critical role in continuously elevating not only your performance, but the performance of the entire team through strategic leadership, innovation coaching, and training.
Key expectations are:
- Manage, develop and provide strategic media recommendations and plans to clients. Ensure you exceed client objectives, produce high-quality work, actively propose new strategies, and keep up with industry best practices and trends. You are familiar with performance marketing with experience in plan optimization.
- Strategize and manage highly optimized paid media campaigns for clients across both traditional media and digital. You will be proficient in digital planning and social media planning across all major platforms.
- Grow deep client relationships built on trust, strong communication, and proactivity. Work with clients to identify needs and opportunities aligned with their business objectives and audiences.
- Actively make new recommendations to improve client performance and grow your accounts. Contribute to high client retention and satisfaction.
- Manage monthly spends and forecast campaign results to ensure a high ROI.
- Actively lead process improvement and the adoption of new technology and trends.
Qualifications:
- A diploma or degree in Media, Advertising or Marketing management diploma. For the Media Director position, must have over 8 years of experience; for Media Manager position, have over 5 years of experience, while those applying for Media Planner position, have at least 3 years of experience.
- Professional level proficiency reading and writing in English.
- Proficiency reading/writing Punjabi, Hindi or Mandarin is an asset
- Previous roles should have had a focus on high-performance paid media strategies across multiple clients in the Canadian media market.
- Proven success in managing innovative paid media strategies across both traditional and digital channels, consistently exceeding client goals and growing client relationships.
- Certifications from Google and experience managing Google products such as DV360 and Campaign Manager preferred
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Is a go-to expert when it comes to both technical aspects and strategy.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to develop and maintain close relationships with clients as well as team members.
- Confidence and experience in leading client communication and bringing your ideas forward.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines.
