Peakhill Capital is a commercial Real Estate capital provider with mortgage investments across all real estate asset classes in Canada. Our equity platform, Peakhill Equity Partners, is an opportunistic equity platform focused on investments in ground up and value-add projects in Canada and the United States.
We are seeking an entrepreneurial recent grad for this newly created role as a Digital Marketing Coordinator. The role will be based in Peakhill’s Toronto office, and it is a full time in-office position.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee SEO activities (e.g. content strategy, keyword strategy, optimizing web content, etc.)
- Provide copywriting in execution of advertising and marketing collateral to ensure brand consistency and effectiveness. This includes: client packages, presentations, newsletters, and promotional print materials.
- Liaise with the marketing leader and web developers to execute routine updates and implement new content/layouts on the website
- Manage email marketing and database
- Assist in the execution, launch, and optimization of advertising campaigns across social platforms and search engines
- Assist in developing new marketing initiatives to grow our brand
- Stay current with industry trends and identify new opportunities for growth
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- Previous experience in commercial real estate is required
- 1 year of professional experience in a marketing copywriter, SEO content specialist, and/or digital marketing/advertising role
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Organized, creative, and detail-oriented
- Knowledge of Wordpress, Mailchimp, and Google Analytics is required
- Previous experience with Adobe Creative Suite is considered an asset
- Demonstrates a high degree of integrity, diplomacy, discretion, and confidentiality
