GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION
Minogue Medical is looking for a bilingual Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. The specialist will report directly to the VP of Business Development, Marketing and Service and work closely with Senior Management and Clinical Sales Teams to help strategically grow Minogue Medicals portfolio of Medical Technologies, Patient Simulation Educational and Nutrition Products.
The Marketing specialist will work to increase product awareness supporting the sales team to drive utilization. The successful candidate will develop marketing strategies to promote Minogue Medicals innovative medical solutions including partnering with our field specialists to manage, organize and execute campaigns and events.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Organize and manage conferences and events.
- Create targeted digital (email, newsletters) and social media communications focused on our products, promotions and events.
- Develop strategy and content to drive engagement and lead acquisition to help grow sales (product demos, website purchases, etc).
- Partner with suppliers and leverage their content to develop marketing materials and marketing campaigns.
- Increase product awareness and education for key stakeholders.
- Communicate the value of Minogue Medical’s products to our sales force and customers such as physicians, nurses, hospital executives, patients, and more.
- Identify training, promotional, and other downstream opportunities to ensure optimum field team education and customer satisfaction.
- Track key performance indicators and generate business and marketing reports for the management and field teams.
- Gather and interpret relevant data and research and remain up to date with current trends as well as news and industry publications.
- Execute on analysis to drive marketing direction of a product, service and/or procedure, possibly including, but not limited to: positioning, messaging, segmentation, pricing, reviewing market share, conducting market research and developing product requirements.
- Handle customer concerns escalated by sales, marketing and customer service to mitigate customer dissatisfaction and improve the customer experience.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education Required:
- Bachelor of Science degree with 3-5+ years’ experience in Marketing/Business
- Bachelors degree in Business/Marketing with 3-5+ years’ experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.
- Experienced in Health Care and Medical Device Industry is preferred.
- Proven ability to effectively position and message product/procedure
- Demonstrated success in building education and marketing programs to drive product/procedure growth.
- Demonstrated ability to work creatively amidst competing priorities to deliver high-impact marketing programs on-time and within budget to support overall marketing strategy and business objectives.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
- Proficient in the Adobe suite and Word Press.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with great organization skills.
- Strong attention to details.
- Ability to multiple tasks and perform well under pressure.
- Ability to travel occasionally.
