In this role, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of leading and managing DEI programs for the Canadian Market. Your focus will be on driving the development of impactful strategies, evaluating suppliers, and skillfully negotiating to achieve outstanding outcomes in terms of quality, cost, performance, and supplier diversity targets. Leading matrixed teams, developing effective DEI strategies, and overseeing sourcing and procurement operations will be essential aspects of this position. Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in mentoring and developing a high-performing team while serving as a key communicator and decision-maker for national DEI initiatives and projects. Your contributions will significantly influence the success and progress of our organization in the DEI arena. Awareness of cultural competency and ability to navigate cross-cultural dynamic Strong management and leadership skills with a high degree of accountability, professionalism, and a commitment to a team approach. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to lead negotiations with strong ethical standards and a commitment to fairness, equity, and social justice Must have excellent presentation skills, with ability to present to varying audiences Demonstrated ability to understand, analyze and interpret financial data. Ability to write effectively, organize and maintain project documentation and prepare reports as required. Ability to thrive and excel in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities.
