Apply today to this excellent opportunity on our diverse team! #joinourteam What You Will Do: Maintain GL for Liquids legal entities by preparing monthly recurring entries, account analysis and account reconciliations. Review and analyze the monthly general ledger for reasonableness, accuracy of information and compliance with Company policies and GAAP. Coordinate month end activities, ensuring completion of specific accountabilities. Collaborate closely with field staff to ensure accurate accruals are recorded on a monthly basis. Provide mentorship to ensure appropriate accounting policies are followed. Support the Sr Financial Advisor responsible for Liquids legal entities monthly results. Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX 404) internal control documentation and coordination with external auditors. Responsible for understanding key controls' design & execution and recommending changes to controls if processes change. Who You Are: You possess a Post-Secondary education in Accounting and Professional Accounting Designation. 4 years or more post designation experience in an accounting environment is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and digital literacy. Values other perspectives and respects diversity. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Strong knowledge of US GAAP. Solid understanding of HFM, SmartView and Oracle.
