Apply today for this excellent opportunity with our diverse team! #joinourteam What You Will Do: Support strategies for growing low-carbon lines of business for Enbridge Gas Inc.’s storage and transportation systems. This role will initially and immediately focus on enabling and advancing carbon capture and storage in Ontario. Generate new growth investment opportunities and project manage low-carbon projects with a broad stakeholder team from across Enbridge while advising cross-functional committees. Leverage business acumen to evaluate potential projects and provide alternative economic assessments. Develop a detailed understanding of new energy technologies, including different forms of carbon capture, transportation, and storage methods. Draft recommendations and evidence supporting project approvals related to market dynamics, project scope, need, and alternative evaluations. Lead the development of government funding applications, liaise with government agencies to provide project cost and status updates, and stay up to date on financial instruments supporting the low-carbon industry. Who You Are: A University Degree in Business, Engineering, Economics or a related industry experience and knowledge. 7+ years of business development, project development, commercial, and/or related energy infrastructure experience. Proven sophisticated understanding of the value drivers and fundamentals of the businesses in which Enbridge operates in (e.g. pipelines, terminals, storage, utilities, renewables and low carbon development). Proficiency and communications skills related to leading without authority and acting independently with a high degree of self-motivation. Strong critical thinking and business analytical skills, market insight, communication and influence skills, negotiation, business & financial foresight, and creativity to develop innovative solutions. Ability to build, develop and maintain positive relationships with existing or new customers, industry groups, Indigenous communities, and government representatives. Strong interpersonal skills and leadership experience. Preferred: A professional designation would be considered an asset. Post-graduate degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or a related field would be considered an asset. Working Conditions: Normal office working conditions. Stress levels can be above normal as the work is highly visible. Numerous, often challenging, interests must be handled concurrently while negotiating/influencing. Office environment with some travel required to asset locations, customer sites and business conferences in Canada and the US. Occasional need to put in extra hours to meet project deadlines.
