Manager, Digital Health Product The Digital Health team at Shoppers Drug Mart is responsible for a range of digital health assets including PC Health; Shopper’s customer facing health & wellness platform. Our team works at the intersection of strategy and product to support Canadians by improving healthcare access, health education and health management for themselves and their families. Over the last 12 months we’ve expanded PC Health to be a more omnichannel experience. Available on both app and web, PC Health is also becoming more tightly integrated into the pharmacy. This makes for a more cohesive experience for users. It also makes for a more sophisticated, complicated, and comprehensive product. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Digital Health this role will own the omnichannel experience between PC Health, pharmacies & other healthcare providers. The Manager will collaborate closely with the rest of the PC Health team to enable a data driven and user-centric approach to feature prioritization. Responsibilities In this role, the Manager will be responsible for establishing and delivering an omni-channel experience. The Manager will be responsible incorporating customer feedback through research, data and performance to ensure we are building a product that enhances our patient experience. Experience in problem definition, measurement, product delivery, and communicating impact of product is required. This person needs to demonstrate the skills to continue our experiment driven, agile approach to development. The roadmap needs to line up to our platform strategy and overall enterprise Connected Healthcare vision. The successful candidate is responsible for identifying, prioritizing, scoping, and solutioning product experiences that connect digital and in-person experiences. This role works closely with all functions of the Digital Health team, senior leadership, and many external teams to ensure initiatives are executed on time and on budget and contributes to target platform metrics. What You'll Do: Lead omni-channel experiences for a high-profile customer-facing health & wellness digital platform Support with driving user acquisition and engagement through product roadmap decisions, using user insights and user feedback wherever possible Lead multiple digital health projects in partnership with internal teams and external partners Lead multiple projects from ideation, design, development through to launch Work collaboratively with our vendor partners across product management, design and engineering Make strategic decisions based on complex data and information Review and provide oversight over testing and development Develop work back plans for product work and management of timelines Be accountable for execution and meeting product roadmap timelines and targets Support user acceptance testing for all new features Support with regular business reporting on product performance Become the subject matter expert in new areas of healthcare innovation, as well as relevant regulatory and industry developments What You'll Need: 5-8 years of previous work experience A university degree or equivalent, in healthcare, technology, product or business is preferred. Experience in technology and product development building software products is required, and health care (or other regulated industries) experience is an asset. A lot of our work gets done through third party development teams. We’re looking for someone who is experienced influencing through collaboration and with strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience managing a digital roadmap and the ability to measure and communicate the success of your portfolio. A lot of the solutions required to support the business teams are complex, we are looking for someone with demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with well-developed interpersonal skills to help bring these to life. It is important to communicate and advocate for your portfolio’s progress, we are looking for someone with the ability to autonomously ship and drive outcomes and communicate the overall impact.
