Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity The Manager, Cloud & DevOps Platform Support will lead a team of senior technical professionals responsible for the support and maintenance of Cloud & DevOps Platform. Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a Hybrid model. Reporting Relationship: You will report to Director, Cloud Infrastructure Architecture & Engineering. Your Moneris Career - What you'll do Lead and manage a team of system engineers responsible for daily operations and support of Cloud & DevOps Platform through hiring, coaching, mentoring, feedback, and hands-on career development. Provide technical support and coordination for escalated incidents and problems from DevOps engineering and SRE teams. Lead delivery, and/or participate in projects with business, architecture and development teams to implement and manage infrastructure technologies and solutions. Grow and develop talent to help create teams and collaborative engineering culture in line with the company values. Provide guidance and support for escalated incidents and problems. Advocate and advance modern, Agile software development practices and core DevOps behaviors to driver change across development and infrastructure teams. Your Moneris Career - What you bring Bachelor's degree in software development or computer engineering required, or equivalent work experience. 5+ years of practical hands-on technical experience combined with strong management skills. Minimum 5 years managerial experience in leading platform support (DevOps/SRE) teams. Demonstrated ability of establishing and maintaining metrics-base process improvements Comprehensive DevOps skills including proven hands-on experience with source, artifact, orchestration, configuration and secret management in concert with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub, Nexus, and Ansible) Experience implementing and using Infrastructure and Configuration as Code in CI/CD and GitOps automations (ARM templates, Terraform) Experience implementing and managing Cloud Infrastructure and Application Monitoring/Logging solutions is a strong asset (Dynatrace) Practical experience in Public/Private Cloud Computing and CaaS (Containers as a Service) Kubernetes/Docker Experience working in cross-functional teams using Agile methodology, including SCRUM and KANBAN Proficiency in payment systems and the merchant acquiring business is an asset.
