Job Description

FLINT is seeking a Journeyperson Millwright with industrial experience for a temporary position in Burnaby, BC, starting as soon as possible! In this position, you will enjoy a Monday to Friday schedule, 8-hour workdays, and benefits after 300+ hours worked. Hourly rate for a Journeyperson Millwright employee is $49/hr regular time.

This position does not include camp accommodations, living out allowance, or travel allowance. Therefore, it is best suited for local candidates; however, those willing to travel or relocate at their own expense are also encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years’ experience in an industrial setting.
Valid Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic/Millwright certificate.
Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
Must have own reliable transportation to site.
Valid driver’s license and clean 5-year Driver’s Abstract with under 6 demerits.

Additional Information

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
