As the Market Intelligence Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in building and leading the market intelligence function from the ground up. This role is hybrid, with three days per week at the St. Louis office (near downtown) and remote work on Fridays, offering the perfect balance of collaboration and flexibility.
What You’ll Do
- Establish the Market Intelligence Function: Create and implement processes to gather and analyze market data, competitive intelligence, and industry trends.
- Leverage Research Tools: Use platforms like Nielsen, IRI, and other market intelligence tools to identify market opportunities and provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Product Management, Sales, and Marketing to support strategic decision-making.
- Present Insights to Leadership: Develop reports and visual presentations for senior leadership to influence business strategies.
- Monitor Competitors and Trends: Stay updated on market shifts, competitor activities, and emerging trends in the food and beverage industry.
What You’ll Bring
- 3–5 years of experience in market research or competitive intelligence, ideally within the food, beverage, or consumer goods industries.
- Direct experience with tools like Nielsen, IRI, Circana, or similar platforms.
Skills:
- Proficiency with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau to create reports and presentations.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Work Style:
- A self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable taking ownership of a new function.
- Willingness to work on-site three days per week and collaborate with key stakeholders.
