UW Mississauga is currently looking to hire a Junior Marketing Assistant to help us keep up with the demands of our clients. Our clients are leaders in the telecommunications industry who come to us for help to promote their brands, services, and products. Our marketing approach allows us to connect with customers and clients at the foundation. We excel at building relationships with customers while communicating our clients' brand in order to increase awareness and profitability. Applicants must be comfortable engaging with the public and have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for managing end-to-end sales responsibilities, including customer service and developing relationships with customers
- Attend daily training sessions and workshops to increase product knowledge and to stay current with all of our client’s products, services, and pricing
- Develop product knowledge and practice active listening with customers and clients in order to translate that knowledge into tailored solutions with each customer interaction
- Deliver exceptional customer service by professionally addressing client inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely manner

Requirements:
- 1-3 years of customer service, sales or retail experience is an asset
- Customer-focused and service-oriented mindset
- Self-motivated and goal-orientated
- Full-time availability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated, with strong time-management and organization skills
