We are currently seeking a Human Resources Coordinator based in Saint John, New Brunswick.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in sourcing candidates using a variety of platforms and tools.
- Partner closely with our Talent Acquisition Specialists to move candidates through the interview process by setting up the interview logistics, ensuring interviews run smoothly and that feedback is communicated in a timely manner.
- Maintain candidate applicant tracking system (Taleo) to ensure information is up-to-date and manage recruitment reports.
- Assist with onboarding by collecting necessary information, preparing new hire announcements, and working with leaders to prepare for the candidate’s first day.
- Plan and attend recruitment and engagement events throughout the year.
- Assist with administrative components of the disability management process, including collecting and completing necessary paperwork for the disability provider and working with divisional administration to update HCM records accordingly.
- Work closely with divisional administration to ensure employee records are complete and up to date.
- Prepare employment letters for employees upon request.
- Assist with processing of hourly payroll.
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Human Resources Management, or equivalent education.
- Detail oriented and organized with the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks while managing your work time efficiently.
- Tech savvy: The successful candidate is always looking for ways to leverage technology and looking for new ways to improve a process.
- Creativity: Always thinking outside of the box to source candidates.
- Ability to maintain a cool and calm demeanor with urgent task.
- Communicate professionally and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
