Job Description: Data Entry Operator
Position Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and tech-savvy Data Entry Operator with broad exposure to various technology platforms and a strong understanding of an infrastructure operations landscape. The ideal candidate will possess excellent data management skills and demonstrate the ability to navigate and utilize tools such as Excel, SharePoint Lists, MS Teams Groups, and Outlook effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter, verify, and maintain accurate data in Excel spreadsheets, ensuring completeness and integrity.
- Manage and update SharePoint Lists to support project workflows and operational processes.
- Collaborate with team members using MS Teams Groups, facilitating communication and document sharing.
- Organize and respond to Outlook emails promptly, maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
- Support infrastructure operations by ensuring data is consistently entered, stored, and accessible across multiple platforms.
- Assist with the generation of reports and summaries as required for decision-making.
- Identify and escalate discrepancies or issues within datasets or processes to the appropriate teams.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all data, adhering to company policies and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a data entry or similar role, with exposure to IT infrastructure operations being a strong asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables) and SharePoint.
- Familiarity with MS Teams Groups for collaboration and Outlook for email communication.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new tools and technologies in a dynamic environment.
- Experience working within a fast-paced IT or operational ecosystem is an advantage.
