Role Overview:
The Director of Operations at VICI Learning plays a critical leadership role in driving the organization’s success and operational excellence where your contributions directly impact our mission and success to support the education community. In this pivotal role, you’ll help shape the growth and operations of our learning center, ensuring seamless delivery of high-quality educational services and a thriving educational community that aligns with our mission and vision.
As a member of our team, you’ll gain exposure to various facets of business operations, from optimizing processes to driving service excellence, while enjoying the flexibility to adapt and lead initiatives. This role requires exceptional leadership skills to inspire and guide a dynamic team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. By engaging with students, parents, and staff, the Director of Operations ensures superior customer experience and contributes to creating a positive and inclusive community.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Seamless Customer Experience: Create an unmatched experience for clients by optimizing operations, implementing customer service standards, and exceeding expectations.
- Foster Trust Through Service Excellence: Establish high service quality standards and implement quality assurance measures to meet and exceed client needs.
- Champion Students’ Academic Success: Continuously improve service delivery to support students in achieving academic goals and becoming confident learners.
- Manage Daily Operations: Manage staff, budget, and resources while preparing regular reports to assess operational health.
- Drive Operational Efficiency: Reduce costs and boost productivity by leveraging technology, refining processes, and managing resources effectively.
- Build a High-Performing Team: Recruit, train, and empower staff to foster collaboration, accountability, and commitment to excellence.
- Strengthen Client Relationships: Build lasting connections with students, parents, and staff by addressing concerns and showcasing our commitment to excellence.
- Support Organizational Growth: Analyze performance metrics, identify opportunities, and implement strategic decisions that ensure sustainable success.
- Contribute to Local Education Success: Use your knowledge of the local BC education system to tailor programs that meet the academic needs of our community.

Qualifications

- 3-5 years of operations management or leadership experience, preferably in a service-oriented environment

- Proficiency in operations management software and tools
- Familiarity with the local education system is a strong asset
- Ability to participate in the WorkBC Wage Subsidy Program
