YOUR MISSION:
Are you ready to make an impact and keep things running smoothly behind the scenes? At Van-Kam Freightways, we’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Clerk to help us deliver freight safely and on time, while supporting our mission of top-notch service!
This is a Full-Time Monday-Friday shift with a start time in the late morning.
Core Responsibilities:
- Managing the flow: Ensure inbound and outbound freight is handled quickly and efficiently
- Recordkeeping: Keep detailed and accurate documentation like bills of lading and delivery receipts
- Data entry & customer service: Handle phone calls, perform general clerk duties, and keep everything organized
- Teamwork: Work with various departments like logistics to keep things moving smoothly.

- A communicator: You’re excellent with people, whether it’s face-to-face or over the phone
- A problem-solver: You love finding solutions and keeping things organized
- Tech-savvy: You know your way around Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and can manage spreadsheets with ease
- Detail-focused: You notice the small stuff and keep track of everything!
- A team player: You thrive in a collaborative environment and can handle multiple tasks with a smile
