The primary role of the Administrative Assistant is to support a team of financial advisors to ensure that the team’s administrative function is managed efficiently and effectively. The position is responsible for servicing client requests, preparing for client meetings, and ensuring client paperwork is up to date and accurate.

Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for and support the team with paperwork in preparing, distributing and processing client documentation (primarily digital)
- Prepare professional correspondence, reports, documents and files
- Support client’s general day to day requests in a timely confidential manner
- Be responsible for scheduling client portfolio review meetings and assist with preparing the review presentations
- Assist with marketing initiatives
- Communicate internally with various operational and administrative departments
- Operate the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
- Offer vacation coverage to Senior Sales Assistants
- Support the Financial Advisors in growth of the overall businesses
- Maintain files and general office duties

Education and Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of industry related experience and
- Experience in the investment brokerage, financial services, banking or accounting industry an asset.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Investment Representative licensing, including the successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course and the Conduct and Practices Handbook, is required; or a willingness to pursue the IR Licensing within 12 months of joining

Salary Range: BC (based on Education, Work Experience, etc)
Total compensation package is dependent on experience and licensing credentials. Base salary is $47,500 to $52,500 per annum plus, annual discretionary bonus, paid vacation, benefits and tuition reimbursement for industry required classes.
